Studio For Makers was created to give makers an affordable way to track inventory and pricing.
Studio For Makers started because I was overwhelmed, under-supported, and priced out of the tools that were supposed to help.
I am one person and I had been running a small side business where I made soap, candles and some bath and body products. Le Silo Bleu is my "heart" business and now I am expanding to include haircare and a skincare line. Through all of this, I realized I was spending way more time trying to track materials, costs, and inventory than actually creating anything. I needed to really get a handle on my pricing and everything I have in stock. I just kept buying supplies without knowing everything I had and not really knowing what to price items at. Every system I tried was either built for bigger companies, too expensive, or missing the exact features I felt I needed as a solo maker.
I love spreadsheets. Sheets, Excel, VLookups and Pivot tables — you name it. I built elaborate systems for myself. But it became too much: I had way too many tabs (!), too many versions, too many formulas, too many places to look. What was meant to bring me clarity started creating more chaos.
I needed everything in one place.
So I built it.
Studio For Makers was originally created for one business — mine. It wasn't meant to turn into a whole program. It wasn't meant to be shared. It was just meant to help me breathe again and price items correctly so I can (hopefully) make a little profit with my small business.
As I talked to other makers, I kept hearing the same things: "I can't afford the other (bigger) systems." "They're too complicated." "I just need something simple and easy."
So I decided to make it available as something genuinely affordable and accessible for small makers. One small monthly fee for the whole application, no tiers or gatekeeping. Also, a free soap calculator (but if you only want to save your soaping recipes to the cloud, there's a small fee to cover hosting every month.) If this tool can help someone else feel less overwhelmed, more confident, and more in control, I'm happy to offer it.
It's a tool that does just what it's supposed to do — track what you have on hand and help you price your items correctly so you can make a profit.
Every feature inside Studio For Makers comes from real problems I personally faced:
I didn't need a big system. I just needed overall clarity — so this was built so I could price my products correctly. Now, I hope you can too!

I am a real maker and I built this because I needed it. And if I needed it, chances are you do too. I hope it can be a tool that helps you feel more in control of your business and less overwhelmed by all the things you have to keep track of.
Good tools shouldn't be locked behind high price tags. Studio For Makers is intentionally priced to be accessible for small makers.
Workflows have been designed around how my business actually runs and things I think are important. But I also want to hear what you think is important — and if I can make it work, I will add it.
Running a business is already hard enough. This was designed so you can spend less time managing systems and more time creating.
Not every business wants to scale. Some do and some just want to be sustainable, profitable, and work within a busy life. Studio For Makers supports all versions of success.
Life is busy as it is, plus add friends, family and other jobs, it's hard to juggle it all. This tool is built to reduce the stress of inventory management and retail pricing, not add to it.
My goal with Studio For Makers is simple: to give makers tools that actually work for the way they run their businesses.
If you're here, chances are you've felt that same overwhelmed feeling — the feeling that everything is harder than it needs to be. This application exists because I knew there was a better way. I'm so glad you're here. Let's get back to making!
